Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 21, 2026

1.How this policy works

LionSync LLC publishes this master Privacy Policy to state who we are, the principles that govern how we handle personal data across our Products, and the rights you have with respect to LionSync LLC as a company.

Each Product also publishes its own product-specific privacy notice describing exactly what data that Product collects, which third-party service providers it uses, and how long it retains data — because our Products differ in what they do and what they collect. Where a product-specific notice describes a practice specific to that Product, the product-specific notice governs for that Product. This master policy always governs LionSync LLC's identity as the controller/operator and the general rights described below.

  • TradeLog Site privacy notice: https://tradelogsite.com/privacy
  • LionCommand privacy notice: published within the LionCommand application; LionCommand is currently in private preview and not yet publicly launched.

2.Who we are

LionSync LLC is a Nebraska limited liability company, located in Nebraska, United States. For privacy questions relating to LionSync LLC as a company, or questions not answered by a specific Product's privacy notice, contact us at privacy@lionsync.us.

3.Products are operated separately

Each LionSync LLC Product currently operates on its own independent database and authentication system. As of this policy's last-updated date:

  • LionSync LLC does not share personal data, account credentials, login sessions, or analytics identifiers between TradeLog Site, LionCommand, or any other Product.
  • Creating an account with one Product does not create an account with, or share your data with, any other Product.
  • Each Product's own privacy notice is the accurate source for what that Product collects and who it shares data with.

If this changes — for example, if we introduce shared login, a shared customer record, or cross-product analytics — we will update this policy and each affected Product's privacy notice in advance of the change taking effect, and will seek your consent where required by law.

4.Categories of data LionSync LLC Products may process

Depending on which Product you use, and as detailed further in that Product's own privacy notice, categories of personal data our Products may collect include:

  • Account and identity data — name, email address, phone number, job title, profile image, login/session information, and OAuth identifiers.
  • Company and role data — company/workspace name, team membership, role, and permissions.
  • Project and job-site data — job or project names, addresses, schedules, budgets, and related records.
  • Work-product content — tasks, notes, messages, comments, punch-list items, RFIs, change orders, bids, vendor contacts, material orders, calendar events, time entries, and uploaded documents or photographs.
  • Access and security records — invitations, notification preferences, audit logs, security events, and technical information such as timestamps, session records, and IP/device information recorded by our infrastructure providers.
  • Subscription and billing metadata — plan, seat limits, and billing status. Full payment card or bank account details are collected and stored directly by our payment processor(s), not by LionSync LLC or its Products, when payment processing is active for a given Product.

5.How we use this data

We use the data described above to operate and secure our Products, support customers, process subscriptions where applicable, send transactional communications, comply with legal obligations, and improve our software. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use data collected by one Product to build profiles about you across other Products.

6.Legal basis for processing (GDPR)

Where data protection laws such as the EU/UK GDPR apply, we rely on:

  • Performance of a contract — to create your account and deliver the Product's core features.
  • Legitimate interests — to secure our Products, prevent abuse, debug issues, and improve our software, balanced against your rights and expectations.
  • Legal obligation — to retain billing, tax, and accounting records and respond to lawful requests.
  • Consent — where required, such as for certain non-essential communications. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us.

7.Your rights

Regardless of which Product you use, you may at any time:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your account and associated personal data.
  • Request a copy of your data in a portable format.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing activities.

To exercise these rights for a specific Product, use the contact method listed in that Product's privacy notice. For questions about LionSync LLC generally, contact privacy@lionsync.us.

8.Data retention

Each Product's privacy notice sets out the specific retention periods that apply to the data it collects. As a general principle across LionSync LLC: data is retained only as long as needed to provide the Product, plus any additional period required for legal, tax, accounting, or security purposes. When retention periods end, data is securely deleted or anonymized.

9.Security practices

LionSync LLC and its Products use industry-standard safeguards such as encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), access controls, and least-privilege service accounts. No service can guarantee absolute security, but we work continuously to protect your data. Product-specific technical safeguards are described in each Product's own privacy notice.

10.Children and age restriction

LionSync LLC's Products are intended for business and professional use by individuals who are 18 years of age or older. Our Products are not intended for children or minors, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If we learn we have collected personal data from a person under 18, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

11.Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes — including any change to how data is shared between Products — will be communicated in advance where required by law.
